Several readers pointed out in the Notes section that I haven't talked a lot about little puppy in awhile. And, que horror, they're right!!! So I'm trying to think of funny things to tell you about her.

*We have two couches in our common area- they face each other, with about 3 feet between them. Once, while my roommate Thug (I have two roommates named Sarah, so one is Sarah and the other is Thug, a nickname I gave her long before she moved in with me) was sitting on the taller couch, and I on the smaller one, Twinkie leaped from one couch to another. It was so funny, because we had never seen her do it before. Now it's become one of those things that I'm always dying for her to do, but she'll only do when she feels like it (a category that also includes tail-chasing, and being calm).

*I love sitting in the common area, watching TV, while she runs about the house. She'll disappear into my room, and I never know what she's going to do- is she going to emerge with one of her toys?(Boney? Person? Ducky? Kong?) Is she going to have left me a present on a pile of my school papers? Who knows.

*When I wake up in the morning, if I look over at her, and she sees that I'm awake, she runs over to the edge of the kennel, and starts jumping up and down, making little whiny noises, like, "Hey! Wake up! I miss you!"

*She's going on her first airplane ride to my house in FL for Thanksgiving! Hopefully, she'll get along with the dog and cat of the household..... I don't imagine they'll be best friends, but they'll probably get used to each other after awhile.
