In the battle against bugs, tape is my latest weapon. Yes, tape. As you recall, I'm in an basement apartment. The whole basement is not mine- the people upstairs have a small portion of the basement near the front of the house. My apartment and their basement space is separated by a door (with no handle, just a lock). I noticed recently that a lot of bugs were crawling into my apartment from under the door or through a gap in the molding under the closet. Clear packing tape to the rescue! POOF, no more space for bugs to crawl in. I can't believe I didn't think of this sooner.
