I forgot to mention that last weekend, M and his roommate and I went out to a bar. A seeecret bar. You see, it's a bar where you have to have a reservation. And the number is unpublished. And if a lot of people find out the number, they CHANGE it. And the door is unmarked. Here in New York, we call that "cool". I gotta say, in my heart, I call it "baloney". Seriously! You want my money, you treat me nice! I don't want to have to beg to have the phone number or come in the door or whatever. The drinks were good, but expensive, and I doubt we'll be back.

Meanwhile, you know what my peeve of the day is??? I unpacked my new sheets I got at IKEA on Saturday (a marathon shopping day- we were there for almost 6 hours! M needed a lot of things), and I BOUGHT THE WRONG THING. I needed a fitted sheet, I bought a flat sheet. I thought I had grabbed the right thing, but apparently I didn't, because I looked at the packaging and it said it was a flat sheet in teeny tiny letters on the back (the front was a weird IKEA name and a weird IKEA picture). What kind of names are those, anyway? Shouldn't the fitted sheet be named the flat sheet, since it stays flat, and the flat sheet be something else, like, the flowy sheet? Gah, so annoying. Now I'm out $20 for a sheet I'll never use. Guess Twinkie has one more thing to sleep on in this house.
