Father is gone! Yayayayayay! Just kidding, Dad, that was a joke just for you :-D We had a lovely visit- we saw some shows, ate lots of food, and did a LOT of walking around. The weather was very nice for his visit, so when we saw all the stuff Sunday morning about a blizzard, we worried. Well, I worried, Dad was optimistic that he would make it out of NYC before all the snow hit. Which he did! Good timing. I went out into it briefly this evening, to get to the library; it wasn't too bad. But now I'm in for the night, with a big pile of books to read and some Netflix and groceries (mmmm, cheese). Snowy nights aren't so bad when you have entertainment! And, err, I just bought some new stationery online, since I used up all the big printed notecards and the small printed notecards I picked up at VistaPrint are just too dang small for a lot of stuff. See, that's me justifying buying something I don't really need just because I want it, heh. Online shopping is dangerous, someone should really put my computer in a big block of ice.
