Busy, busy week! Lots going on this week- throwing my resumes out all over the place of course, stopping by church to help out with some childcare and office things, working out at the gym, running out to Bed, Bath and BEYOND to pick up a thing for a friend and a drain cover for my bathroom sink. The drain cover is my real accomplishment, I'm very excited to no longer have to fear all my jewelry being swallowed into the black hole of the sink drain. I've accomplished so much this week that I've decided not to leave the house tomorrow. It's Movie Friday! Twinkie and I are eating junk and watching movies all day long (well, until our date with M). Yahoo!

I could really use the day to stay home, because despite my positive attitude about the whole layoff thing, it does make me feel somewhat depressed and I've lost my energy for a lot of things. Including two of my favorite things- meeting new people and reading. Just don't have the energy for it- the new Shape magazine sat next to my bed untouched for 3 days, since when does that happen? And you don't even want to see the book pile. Hopefully, I can rally tomorrow and get my strength back for those things.
