Today, I found out that I am eligible for the premium subsidy for the state continuation of my health insurance benefits (thank you, Daddy Obama). I found out that a friend was cast in a role that's going to take his career to the next level. And I found a $40 settlement check in my mailbox, from a class action lawsuit I had long forgotten. Today was not bad! Although I'm having some weird jaw pain, and my throat is a little scratchy. How can a person who sleeps until noon every day get sick? It's just not right. Hopefully some Emergen-C tonight will knock it all out.
