The shoes from eBay worked! Hurray hurray! My sister gets a gold star- and a life free from the fear of Twinkie showing up to punish her. This same sister is also the one who just found out she has been accepted to teach English in China! She and her husband will be moving there in August. I will miss you, sissy!

I got to go to a taping of the Martha Stewart show today. A friend got tickets, and I figured, why not, maybe I'll get some swag. I got A LOT Of swag! I got a book ("My Sister's Keeper"), a $50 gift card to Mario Badescu (a New York body product store and spa), $100 gift card to 1-800-Flowers, a $25 gift to Michael's Arts and Crafts and a Martha Stewart lacy hole puncher thing for the edges of homemade cards. Oh, and organic sponges. WOO WOO! The show itself was cute, but come on, that's secondary to PRIZES.
