Happy Tony weekend! Are you excited??? Tomorrow is the best day of the year- THE TONY AWARDS!

I had a lovely Tony Awards Eve- went running around with M, first looking at wedding tuxes, then stopping at a spa where I had a Martha Stewart gift certificate to buy some products. PRODUCTS. I love products. My whole house would be floor to ceiling products if I had my way. I bought some "egg" shampoo (egg in shampoo? As Brian Fellow would say, that's crazy!), eye cream, and hand cream. Total cost to me? $0.

Then, I went to the All That Chat Tony Party, a party I've never been able to go to and wouldn't have been able to afford to go to this year had I not won a ticket (courtesy of Ars Nova- thank you, Ars Nova!). Got to sit around, chat with lots of theatre people, eat guacamole, AND get the fabulous ATC Tony Party Gift Bag. The gift bags are mainly CDs, which people then stand around trading until they get the CDs they really want. I got right down to business and got the one thing I had really hoped to get- the "Next to Normal" cast recording. Huzzah! Total cost to me? $0.

After the party, I crashed at M's for awhile watching TV, and then got to come home and have an Amazon.com shopping spree. I had some rewards from my credit card, but made myself wait until after the party, so I didn't buy anything I might get at the party (totally shrewd move, I would've bought "Next to Normal" last week). Waiting over! Got all sorts of lovely cast recordings, plus a few pop singles I've been eyeing to finish up the credit. My iPod is overflowing with new music! Nothing more fun than that. Can't wait to get on the treadmill and start running to all this stuff. Total cost to me? $0. I am RICH today and I didn't even have to spend any money to do it weeeeeeeeee!!
