We snuck into the Conde Nast building today. The things I do to give you people something exciting to read.

Ok, so, we didn't really sneak in- we went in with someone we know who has business there. He had one of his friends vouch for us at the door, and we got our name tags, and up we went. WHAT EXCITEMENT. I desperately hoped to run into Anna Wintour in the elevator, or see models, or something. Alas, life is not like a movie- or is it? When we got out of the elevator on the 4th floor, to go to the cafeteria, there were women lined up in matching shirts and big yellow balloons EVERYWHERE. "Would you like a balloon to celebrate Glamour magazine?" I know I'm marrying the right man, because without hesitation, we both said, "Yes!" Balloooooooooons. They're floating around the apartment as we speak.

In we walked to the cafeteria with our balloons. Food everywhere! I miss cafeteria days. Eating like crazy, paying for everything with fake money on a little card. That is why I was up 4 sizes in college. I digress. So I put together this fancy salad, and then try to figure out how to pay. It's so confusing. You need a card, you can only put money on the card with cash, I only have a $20, I don't want to eat $20 worth of cafeteria food. We end up ditching the cafeteria (and my salad- sorry, salad; sorry, cafeteria lady who ended up having to deal with my salad), and going to White Castle instead. The new BBQ pork slider? Not bad.
