My mother leaves tomorrow. What fun we had! My mother and father have different tourist styles. When my Dad comes, we eat and go to the theatre. When my Mom comes, we shop and go to the theatre.

Some friends just did a family name change, to get everyone using the same last name, and while they're out of town, we picked up the paper where they printed notice of the change. Have you ever read name change ads? They are FASCINATING. This could be big business. They need to flesh them out, like marriage or death announcements. Some were obvious- "Amanda" becomes "Andrew" or vice versa. But others were total puzzles. Seriously, this could revive the news industry- get somebody at the Name Change desk and see if I'm wrong!

The big news in our NYC life is that we now have our very own membership to Costco. AHHH! I CAN GO TO COSTCO WHENEVER I WANT! This is really exciting. We went on Saturday to pick up some stuff for a party, and it was GREAT. Can't wait to go back and shop for myself. 10 gallon bags of Doritos, here I come!
