We went to Costco tonight. YAY COSTCO. It is a good thing I don't have a car, a big house, and lots of cash, because I could very easily go CRAZY at Costco. We bought a 16" cheese pizza for dinner tonight just because it was $5.99. It was too wide to fit in Marc's oven, so the edges curled up a little against the walls and got quite burnt. It was still good. The President was in NYC today. I happened to be in Manhattan, on my way out of an interview (another day, another interview), near where he was going to be, and there were police EVERYWHERE. Every other person on the street was a cop or a guy with an earpiece. I was so tempted to ask them when he was coming so I could stand and cheer and make a fool of myself, but, A, I figured he wasn't coming all that soon and I didn't think they would tell me when he was coming, B, I needed to use the restroom, and C, M was waiting at home for me so we could go to Costco, and who cares about seeing the President when you can get 3 pounds of dried cranberries for $8 and free samples of crab dip in the deli section?
